Swan Care - Approval

With a limited number of strategic redevelopment sites offering quality aged care accommodation and amenities within the Perth metropolitan area, Element Advisory was pleased to assist Swan Care in delivering development approval for their Bentley Park Estate.

In association with the skilled design teams at Iredale Pedersen Hook Architects and Capa Studio, our team was pleased to assist Swan Care in achieving development approval for 18 independent living apartments which will provide a positive impact for the local community. This architecturally designed three-storey building is set in landscaped surrounds providing a new pedestrian street and the extension of Grandis Boulevard to Adie Court.

In recognition, the project was applauded by the Town of Victoria Park’s Design Review Panel which concluded that “the development achieves an exemplary balance of rigorous site planning and an architecture that is simple and responsive yet playful and inventive – a combination of attributes that requires a great deal of architectural skill and dexterity to achieve. In the constraints of budgets associated with retirement accommodation that is not in a prime waterfront location, the proposed development demonstrates that good design does not have to be expensive, just well designed.”

We thank the Town of Victoria Park for its support of the project, from its inception through to approval by the Metro Inner Development Assessment Panel.
